Today my friend David Siteman Garland took the interwebs by storm, with a 50-stop new media tour in one day. Dude, this guy knows EVERYONE!?

David and I met online, after we both presented at the Influencer Project 60 in 60 marketing conference. I was so inspired by David’s story — going from 0 to a 100,000 member community in two years — that I asked David to speak at our recent Reinvention Summit. Not only did he show up, he brought the expansive presence of Alexis Martin Neely with him – and we took part in a heartfelt discussion about where personal storytelling intersects with purpose, promotion, and making a living online.
So with this in mind, here is a follow-up 30-minute video interview I did with David last week, all about his new book and why you should pick it up TODAY.
One of David’s secrets to success is doing over 200+ interviews of thought leaders over the past two years: folks like Seth Godin, Tim Ferriss, Chris Brogan, and Patti Stanger (CEO, The Millionaire Matchmaker – one of my TV guilty pleasures). David’s approach allows him to reach out and talk to just about anyone he wants to. I love it! Lets just say, David has more than inspired me with the evolving directions here at Get Storied.
